Help Needed: Alien Baby

Hello lovely fellow Simmers,

I currently am on the 3rd generation of my vampire family play. My current female sim is married to another vampire sim and they have 2 kids, 1 newly aged up teen and 1 young infant. In all my considerable amount of time playing the Sims 4 I’ve never had a male sim that was abducted by aliens come back pregnant…until now! So my question is, what do?

I have MCC so I can easily clear the pregnancy, but I don’t know if I should? I’m torn. Like on one hand, they don’t need another baby, especially right now where they have an infant but on the other hand, I’ve never had this happen so should I just go with it?

What do y’all think? I’m so conflicted!

Thank you in advance!

Scandalous Sisters Appreciation Post

Okay so I just finished {Grace Seymour Steals a Heart by Aydra Richards} and I have got to gush! I read 3/4 books in the Scandalous Sisters Quartet and they were so good!

My faves were {Mercy Fletcher Meets Her Match by Aydra Richards} and the above mentioned Grace Seymour Steals a Heart.

Mercy Fletcher was such a delight! It has great ADHD disability rep and wonderful communication between MCs. There’s a time when the mmc, Thomas, could choose to keep certain things to himself which would have almost certainly caused big miscommunication/trust issues later in the story BUT Aydra had her characters be adults and Thomas brought up the relevant info very early into their courtship and it only strengthened the story in my opinion. Mercy was great. As someone with ADHD I felt very seen in this book. Mercy may have been a little bit on the nose with all of her adhd “quirks” but I was there for it. Yes, I often hyperfixate on things and forget to eat/sleep/etc. and yes my mind is always running which causes me to forget other things. Like I felt like she just did such a good job with it AND how Thomas loved her for her “quirks” not in spite of them! He found cute little ways to help Mercy make accommodations in her daily life to cope with her disability. It was just so good. And when Thomas was all in, he was all in. He didn’t give a fuck what Mercy could throw at him because he was in it for the long haul.

I skipped {Charity Nightingale Heals Her Husband by Aydra Richards} because the synopsis of that would didn’t interest me as much but I may go back and read it later. I loved Charity in the other books tho, especially Grace’s.

I also read {Felicity Cabot Sells Her Soul by Aydra Richards} but it was my least favorite (still a 3.5/5) but it was just a little more difficult for me because Felicity stays angry for like 95% of the book. And I don’t think they kissed on the lips until like the last sex scene or something. But I did enjoy that Ian was steadfast in his love for her and >!stayed celibate the whole time they were apart!<. I feel like that is somewhat rare in HRs most of the time.

Back to Grace’s book. What a beautiful end to the series! Grace comes from nothing and has a horrid upbringing but when she finds her sisters they go all in on loving her and helping educate her. This all begins in Felicity’s book. So when we see Grace in her own book, she is self-confident and self-assured. She likes who she is as a person and doesn’t care what other people say about her. Refreshing! Especially because she’s not out there loudly proclaiming she doesn’t give a fuck about others’ opinions of her or bucking convention, she just quietly moves with self-confidence and grace and people can either like it or not. Also, especially since this is the final book in the series we get several great scenes with the sisters and, again, Charity really shines as a loving, non-judgmental older sister here. But then there’s Henry. I enjoyed that his character wasn’t afraid to succumb to nerves (early on he’s maybe drunk but definitely anxious so he makes it outside to vomit in some plants). He isn’t an alpha-hole that is a big tough man, he admits that Chris Moore scares the shit out of him. Which was nice because he could still be masculine and attractive while also not being some big macho asshole all the time. I was a little disappointed in the 3rd act breakup but the card scene at the end more than makes up for it. Also I enjoyed that >!they were BOTH virgins!< and Henry’s mother, Rose, and his aunt Alicia were great. I liked that we got to see Rose rebuild her strength after the loss of her husband and how aunt Alicia is a truly kind and caring person.

Tldr; go read this series! It’s so good and very refreshing. AND It’s available on KU.

(Excuse any typos, I’m stream of conscious writing this and don’t have the patience to do a good proofreading rn)
