hi everyone!! not sure if this is the best place to ask, but it is my fave sims sub, so i thought i’d give it a shot!

a few weeks ago, i started watching a yt video about a simmer designing a custom save based on the tv show “from”. i stopped watching it about halfway through because the show sounded interesting and i didn’t want to be spoiled. well.. i am officially caught up on from and am obsessed, so i wanted to go back to that vid. but it seems to have disappeared from my history :(

i tried searching with a bunch of possible search terms, but i keep coming up empty. did anyone else watch this vid? it’s not the end of the world if i never find it, but i’d really love to give it a proper watch now that i’ve seen the show :,)

So I’m playing sims 4 and my sims have gotten married. I completed the whole ceremony and the wedding certificate is up on the wall. A few in game days later I changed an outfit in cas and when I exited to live mode their relationship had been set to partners. Not even fiancés but partners. I had them elope to be set back to married, and the next day changed a career outfit and they’d been set back to partners again. They still have the just married buff active but they’re not even married anymore. I’ve tried exiting the game and reloading and it keeps doing this, and I even tried repairing the game and it didn’t help at all. I don’t use any mods or custom content. Is there any way to fix this? Because I change and redo outfits quite often in cas and I’m not willing to make my sims elope every single time.

I run out of storylines ideas, every time my sims end up running a dispensary selling weed or using NWP. I already played love island, rag to riches, being a actor with the get famous pack and also hsy and discover university…drop your stories pls

I haven’t played The Sims 4 in a long time and I’m thinking about getting back into it

But when I launched it i noticed it in no way looked like what it did before, I’m wondering if there were any major changes that happened
Also I was thinking of picking up a DLC since there’s a summer sale going on so I’d like suggestions

(Last i played was around the release of life and death)

would it be a good time to mass buy the packs i want? i've been saving up some money from my job and i feel like this sale came at the perfect time. i checked and 25 items amounts to about $260 cad give or take. without the sale that would equal to 5 expansion packs if ur lucky. i feel like i shouldn't ask this question but i just don't like spending big wads of cash at once and i wanted to see if anyone else found this out too!
