My game won't load past "Sims 4" screen :( Any ideas?

I've tried deleting all mods, not running any apps at the same time, and opening it both on and offline- but my computer only says "application not responding". I'm on a macbook and playing it on EA Games. Does anyone have any advice?

Looking to get another pack, any recs?

Hello!

I’m looking to pick up another pack or two at the end of this week since there’s a sale. Right now I have:

-City Living
-Island Living
-Cottage Living
-Discover University
-Adventure Awaits
-Growing Together
-Life & Death
-For Rent
-Businesses and Hobbies
-Get Together
-Cats and Dogs
-High School Years
-Seasons

I also have:
-Parenthood
-Laundry Day
-And a bunch of kits/ clutter packs

These are the current options I might want to pick up: Snowy Escape, Get Famous, Get to Work, Wedding Stories, Werewolves…

My style of gameplay is mostly rotational with families. I have multiple family households I rotate through every week. I really enjoy family gameplay and am pretty invested in all of my households and their careers, schooling and skill building. I do have some households with single sims, too. If that gets overwhelming I tend to take breaks and get really into building & decorating.

I do love packs that flesh out the gameplay but also like packs with solid build/ buy and CAS.

I also play with zero mods or CC

If you guys have any recs for me (even ones I didn’t list) pls send them my way. Thank you so much!!!

The weirdest thing happened to my sim...

So, my sim was just minding their business, painting on the roof of their shipping container house, when all of a sudden, an army of total strangers descended upon the lot. They walked right into the house, started using the oven, raiding the bookshelf, recycling my trash, talking to plants, one of them even broke the coffee machine... then, like nothing happened, they all left at once. My question is... is this some kind of event? What just happened? Is this someone's idea of a practical joke? Is Maxis bringing back flash mobs? What's going on? 😭

Starting a Cordelia legacy, any lore on the other Cordelia’s?

We have so much lore for Cordelia I, and obviously we know Cordelia V from the Royalty pack, but does anyone have cool lore I can incorporate for Cordelia’s II-IV?

All I’ve found is that Cordelia II is Beard Beard’s child, and all Cordelia’s (besides V, so far) die tragically, none from old age.
