Coconut rum cocktail suggestion

Hello! Awhile ago I bought a discontinued bottle of locally made coconut rum and was holding it for a special occasion. Now this occasion has come.

I’m looking for a recipe that will showcase the coconut rum. I don’t want it to be overpowered and lost in the background.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The one recipe the distillery posted is a daiquiri which would very much showcase the coconut rum but I’m also interested to see if anyone has any other ideas.

1.5oz rum
0.5oz coconut rum
1 oz lime
0.33oz simple

Cardboard recycling question

I just had a roommate move out so I bought a bunch of household items and ended up with a ton of cardboard to deal with(not super usable for moving). I saw on google it says I can bundle up broken down cardboard and leave it next to my recycling for pick up. I just wanted to confirm if anyone has done this and how I should do it, I also don’t want to get into any trouble so I want to dispose of it properly.

Unsure how to proceed with cancelling

I’m trying to cancel this service.

I’ve been told I will not be charged for a service that is not activated.

My wifi is not activated and I have no access to the internet.

I refuse to call to cancel because I’ve already given this company 10 hours of my life (10 hours total of work, talking to support, and on hold)

So should I just leave it for them to fix? I won’t be charged, I can just hold on to their modem until someone smartens up and resolves the issue.

Even if they try to say I’m breaching contract by not paying, are they not breaching first by not providing me working internet?

10 hours into trying to get wifi set up

It’s getting ridiculous and I feel bad posting this but new customers need to know. This internet service is alright, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

I’ve now spoken to like 12 different support people who have all failed to help me.

I was told tier 2 support will call today at 5pm, it’s currently past 6pm and I’m just lost. Also support closes chat way too fast without me being able to get the phone number given to me and when you get the transcripts of chat the phone number is blurred out…

I know the mistake, the company MESSED up, not me. They did not attach my modem number to my account. THEIR FULL MISTAKE COST ME 10 HOURS AND YET TO BE GIVEN WIFI.

How can no one help me with this? I know the mistake, can no one fix this?

Now I want advice on how to cancel this service that I didn’t even get to use, I haven’t been able to connect to the internet since I got my modem days ago.

New customers BEWARE

Currently at 6+ hours trying to connect my new wifi. Over 10 support people including in person and live support chat.

How can it be this difficult to set up wifi? Why can no support people help me with my problem??

I’m now sitting waiting for live chat (I got transferred an hour ago) and I’m starting to think going with bell or ANYONE else might have been the better choice. Don’t be a sucker like me.

Edit: after over 7 hours with a ton of different supports I’ve been told……. A higher support will be able to take care of it tomorrow, my modem number was not connected to my account and there was a app glitch on iPhone (Samsung worked)

Help me set up difficult internet

Let me begin by saying this has been a pretty horrible experience with Roger’s from getting signed up to setting up new internet.

Wifi light is white, instructions tells me that’s good and wifi is connected. Anytime I try to connect it says no internet and to follow the instructions (which I did) and then shows options to chat with support (when I press them nothing happens…)

I tried unplugging, 30 seconds, restart. Nothing changed.

I can’t even access my Roger’s account through the app on the instructions. It just says something wrong happened.

And initially when I tried to sign up I got my first order canceled, then my second try I had to go through like 5 support people who kept passing me off to another department. I’m not sure how this can get any harder, they keep saying it’s extremely easy to set up?

Edit: just tried their support and was being connect to a specialist 3 times then the session ended with no support. Did I just sign up for a 2 year contract for this?

Edit 2: ANOTHER 40 minutes with support just for them to tell me I need to call in on their hot line. Ridiculous

Bedroom

My roommate just moved out and after moving furniture I found mold on the wall and floorboards. I know mold is terrible to live with so I’m wondering what I can do to fix it. When rubbed it leaves a slight dark color but it doesn’t seem to be getting off the wall.

Is there a mixture I can spray on it?

The bottom is sort of concrete while the top is just a regular wall and paint.
