Recommendations for entry level Blackout/prostockhockey sticks

I am new to hockey, a few months in and looking to join a league in the next month or so. I currently have a stick I bought for 15 used but it feels a bit short and the blade is starting to crack right in the middle on the bottom. It is still usable, but want to have something ready for when that does eventually happen. My question is if people have any recomendations of sticks that are entry level but can still get the correct techniques on before deciding to upgrade later if I want. I was looking at the ProStockHockeySticks OG blue or red as its $110. Is this a good option or is there a better blackout/direct to consumer option. I know of hockey stickman as well, is it worth the extra to get the pro blackout there? Any help is greatly appreciated

Also, is the Mid or low kick a better option for someone just learning?

Affordable shooting Tarp/Net options for outside

I am getting into hockey, and I am still in the process of learning to hockey skate, so I am focused more on skating when I'm on the ice, even at stick and puck. Everything I've read has said to focus on skating, and the other parts will come easier. I do want to start feeling more comfortable with the shooting/passing feeling without giving up the skating time. My roommate has some fake ice shooting tiles but needs something to shoot into. I don't want to spend 200-300 on a hockey tarp but was wondering what materials are best for a more affordable option that lasts decently and stops pucks. I've seen painting canvas and a general blue tarp that is thick.

I was wondering what people have used and that has lasted at least a few months of use before needing to be replaced.

It would most likely be hung on trees or wood posts outside, as our garage is too small. Any advice on something like this would be great TIA.

Help with Skate Pick for person starting to learn Hockey/Skating

TLDR: Looking at buying True Hzrdus 5x for $140 or the 9x at $300. Is it worth the investment now to get the 9x? And what size makes sense for True as they fit different?

I am starting to skate and wanting to take up hockey. I am 5'11 and about 235lbs (currently losing weight). I have skied and snowboarded so I know the importance of boots that fit correctly. I have played a bunch of sports, mainly Rugby and since I am larger was thinking it may be worth the extra investment.

I am looking to buy a pair of skates as I am learning to skate better and play hockey. I went into my local shop (in Texas so not as many options) and tried on the Bauer Supreme F30 and CCM Tacks XR70. The guy said I am an 8.5 skate based on length so I tried both in an 8.5 Wide as regular felt to tight on the sides of my feet. While the toe box of the Bauers felt like they dug in a bit on top. The CCM ended up being a better fit with the toebox but the half size up at 9 wide felt best in those for my feet width without being too long. Could touch the end of the skate barely in an 8.5 but had to reach for the end in a 9.
These are the sizes avalible for the True skates: the 9x has size 9 in regular or wide or 8.5 in rugluar. Where as the 5 x has size 8.5 in wide and regular and size 9 in wide.

Is it worth investing the extra now and get the better model 9x or just start with the 5x?

And since I cant find True skates near me what size makes most sense based on what skates I tried on?

EDIT: I am mid 20s so like to think I still have some years of good athleticism left

Best Cage Free Shark Dive on Oahu?

I did a cage dive in 2012 then did the One Ocean dive in 2022 and had a great time and was wanting to do a shark dive again. I have been looking and seen people recommend other operators and some people have said the quality of One Ocean has not been the best. My experience was great, but my family did not enjoy hanging on the side of the boat and not getting much time actually swimming with the sharks. I was wondering if anyone had expeirence with some of the other operators and if they would recomend someone else and how other experiences were?

Local Printing Company

We are planning a celebration of life and need some memory cards and take home invitations and wanted to find a local business to print on good quality paper in color for them. If anyone has recomendations. We have about 2 weeks so turnaround time doesn’t have to be insanely fast.

My girlfriend recently passed and has over 20000 items in her photos app. I want to make sure we are able to download everything to a drive so we have a physical copy on top of everything backed up to iCloud and for when her phone is eventually taken off service.

Is there any recommendations to do this as I know that would take a long time and I don’t want it to get messed up.
