[Michigan] Process in Michigan - Misconduct Violation of Policy

I was fired from my job today. Apparently I called my new director a “dictator” and that violates company policy. Haven’t received a warning or anything prior. When doing the application I did select “violation of Policy” as a reason, and I understand this may disqualify me to receive any benefit. It is currently in progress on the website and I’m wondering how long does the initial process take and whether I am doomed from the violation of policy. I do not necessarily recall the time that it happened, but I’m not saying I didn’t do it. But regardless will this “simple” act of freedom of speech really disqualify me from unemployment? I haven’t been without a job for many many years and have never collected unemployment before. I’m lost and started to look for positions, but this benefit would allow some food on the table in the meantime. Do I have to wait for this investigation before receiving anything?

Thank you so much!
