How do I cut this pattern out of my model?

I've seen plenty of examples online of cutting patterns out of thinks like vases, but all of them are a consistent shape on the z-axis. I understand the root of the problem I'm experiencing, the rounded shape means the pattern isn't applied evenly, the same way a flat sticker doesn't apply well to a rounded object. However I'm not sure how to overcome this issue. Maybe starting with lofting my object before cutting out the pattern is where I'm going wrong...but can I cut the pattern out first then apply a loft after the fact? Any help in how to accomplish this from folks with more experience would be greatly appreciated!

Away game tickets

Looking at trying to attend an away game this next season since I no longer live in The Valley. Trying to figure out if there are away sections or anything like that in other stadiums so hopefully I can sit near some other fans.

If more specifics are helpful, Salt Lake City is the nearest destination for me, so I would be looking to attend a Jazz game.

Help finding my SO’s first J1

So my SO is finally ready to get their first lifestyle shoe. Hoping you all can help me identify a few different CWs to look into. Here are the criteria:
- J1 low
- Neutral Colorway (they want something they can mix and match with a variety of different outfits
- Tumbled Leather if at all possible—I know JB doesn’t do a ton of tumbled leather releases so this isn’t a must have but sure would be nice
-Men’s or Women’s are fine, they can roll with either as their shoe size is in the overlap
