Title: Remedy for a King | 摄政王的医品狂妃

Alternate Title: The Regent's Brilliant Medical Consort

ML: Zhou Ling Feng | 周凌丰

FL: Ding Lu Yao | 丁璐瑶

Synopsis: Xu Zi'an transmigrates into the body of the Chancellor's abused and bullied daughter. Her forced betrothal to the Regent, Murong Jie, results in an unexpected alliance and a developing romance. Equipped with the medical and martial skills from her original life, and with the help of her betrothed, she expertly takes down the enemies of the body's original owner and gets revenge.

Review: I really loved this one. The plot was solid and didn't rely on loopholes or on the viewer's suspended disbelief to move the story forward. What set it apart for me is that each act of the story was intentional and did not feel haphazardly put together just to pad out episodes. Every act set up an antagonist who was promptly defeated and introduced a larger enemy for the next act to deal with accordingly, which helped create momentum and a feeling of accomplishment for the FL.

All of the actors in the drama were excellent as well. My favorite was the actress playing the Queen. She never over or underacted and embodied the role perfectly. I hope to find more of her dramas soon.

As for the FL, she was a great character. She wasn't overpowered with super powers or a genius, instead she simply relied on her existing skill, some wit, and her trust in the Regent who helped her where she wasn't able to act. And the ML was very sweet from the beginning (not sickeningly so). Their romance was believable and did not drag on forever.

I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys revenge plots and good romance.

Rating: A solid 9/10
