Anybody held official visa (公用ビザ) previously and successfully changed job?

I work for one of the foreign government agencies in Japan and hold official visa (公用ビザ) without being issued residence card. I am looking to change job into the private sector in Japan and managed to secure some interviews while being honest about my visa situation. I am just wondering if there is any anecdotal stories on foreigners who changed to a regular work visa from official visa.

I did my own research and learnt that I will need to have an embassy-endorsed document to submit to the Shinagawa immigration bureau for issung of residence card. After I receive it, I can then apply for a regular work visa.

I still have a lot of uncertainty on job hunting with official visa as I am on an 1-year assignment contract. Does anybody here hold official visa and successfully manage to change job to private sector?

Can t cells induced by rabies vaccines kill viruses in peripheral nerve cells?

got bitten by unvaccinated dog on 6 June. Started day 0 shot immediately but did not get immunoglobulin as Doctors said I did not need it as the dog bit me on the medial forearm over my 100% polyester jacket.

Still, I am concerned that the virus might have entered my peripheral nerve cells before antibodies can kill the virus in bloodstream. Google search tells me conflicting info

Bitten by nomads’ dog

I was on a tour to Khakorin and stayed at a nomad family’s house near there. Their guard dog approached me as I was walking by, and started to stand on hind legs and jump towards me for 5 seconds before biting me on my elbow. The bite wound was skin surface but had blood. I was wearing 100% polyester jacket.

I am very worried about rabies as I was unvaccinated. It has been Day 5 since the bite and my wound is healing. I just went through Day 3 of Post exposure vaccines in my home country, and Day 0 vaccine was administered in a hospital in UB. Decided to skip the immunoglobulin as mongolia does not have it and it is too expensive in my home country.

I read up on rabies isolation and plan to check in with my tour agency on Day 10 whether the nomads’ dog is still alive and healthy

What is the likelihood of me getting rabies from a nomad’s dog bite? How often does it occur in Mongolian news? I read online that only 35 people were reported to have died from rabies over past 30 years
