Apparently Metro will be now be going back to ENC (ElDorado) for more BEV buses.

According to a post on the CPTDB forum, Metro ordered at least 200 new buses from ENC. This is kinda exciting news although I kinda wish Metro was getting 45 footers (I think ENC actually made a 45 foot prototype Axess BRT a few years back) but maybe thats due to costs and logistics.

Next photo is an ENC demo unit of the Axess EVO-BE that will be used on Metro, was brought over by ENC for the Long Beach bus fest last Sunday and displayed throughout the event. Photo taken by me.

Someone at my college brought this to school today

Not sure if it's an xn40 or AxessBRT. (Maybe even a byd k9m but it could be a work in progress cuz headlights are missing) Last week he brought a plushie of a Omnitrans SBX XN60, seems they made these on their own. Pretty cool honestly.
