Stacey witnessed championship victories first hand as a player and stuck with us through the hard and tough times. Our opinion is that he at least deserves a place in the National Sports Media Hall of Fame along with Harry Caray, Jack Brickhouse and many others.
Condolences to Stacey King’s family, friends, and every single fan that will miss him the seasons ahead.
