It's sung in 4 different languages; panjabi, bengali, hindi, urdu.

It's about the pain of partition.

They used bhatiyali tune. Bhatiyali is a type of Bangla folk music originating from the river lands and deltas and sung by the boatmen or ' majhi '. This genre of music usually depicts the flows of life and typically have themes of loss, longing and seperation.

Tho the movie portraited panjab's pain but in this song , they included bengali lyrics too. Ultimately, we all know panjab & bengal were the one who suffered and bled the most.

Anyways. Great composition by AR RAHMAN, Great lyrics by IRSHAD KAMIL and ARMAAN KHAN understood his assignment ❤️‍🔥

Why this song is soo less appreciated? I hardly find someone talking about this song.

This track is the prime epitome of digging human's emotion.

His recent songs are also good but that arjan was something else.

I want him to make more songs like kuz saal, 2bhk which explores human emotion to the deepest level.

This song is based on eve teasing.

This song only got 33k views, like wtf? People keep on spamming that punjabi music isn't giving THAT kind of songs. But there are many songs which are criminally underrated & based on different genres.

He started his career with sikander kahlon, as a member of KKG. But he stopped making music after dropping couple of songs. Tbh he was soo good, his lyricism, his flows everything was great. Kkg would've been much bigger if he continued making music. Tho I'm sk's fan, but the hk was more great of an artist. You can listen to his " karam or kitaab " song.

I find his compositions very catchy

Ik there's nothing like a4a but a4a2 has more varieties of tracks. You will rarely find any miss, I still listen these tracks on loop; ik tarfa, love garrage, aphrodite, portrait of you, meharma, haseen, changa ae, mohabbat, taj mahal, ki kariye, akad, ranjha and 1-2 more.

Why is nobody talking about ricky khan? He is a class vocalist, class lyricist, class composer. Still I see no posts about him. He wrote a couple of songs for hustinder like punjab wal nu, leftovers, and 2-3 more ig.
