Fork Bolt Crush Washer Availability
First time attempting the fork seals on my ‘07 F650. Was able to fine the seals through FortNine, but could not find the washer for the bolts on the bottom. No local auto or motorcycle shops had anything that would work. Nearest BMW dealer is 90 minutes way in the states, or 2.5hours away near Toronto. Neither have the washer, 5-7 days to get them in stock.
I know it’s not necessarily a yearly maintenance item, but I would have assumed dealers would keep the crush washers in stock as this part for other models as well. Am I losing my mind or is this common for others?
