Looking for advice on where to visit in Poland. Due to limitations on the home front I can't plan enough time to hit multiple cities so looking for opinions on a good location for my first trip. Will probably go in late summer or early fall.

My MO is to settle somewhere and spend my time wandering around getting to know a place. Not interested in clubbing, more of the history and food type of tourist. Appreciate any input/ ideas. TIA!
