F1 visa refused after having studied in the US for 3 years
I am an undergrad student at an Ivy League university studying economics. I was entering my senior year and only had 16 credits left. My F1 visa was valid until Oct 2026 but my program end date was May 2027. I applied for a new F1 visa to get it extended. My old one was instantly annulled and then after a week of processing, the new F1 was denied. I then tried again 1 month later and was denied again (no processing this time, straight denial - both times under 214b)
I’ve been a good student with a clean record. I can’t go back to complete my degree even though I’ve been studying there for the last 3 years and only have a bit left to graduate. I applied in Israel with any Israeli passport. My whole family and myself live in the UAE for 4+ years now.
What can I do?
