I've been debating on doing a Proof of a Hero hunt for a few hours now since I just unlocked it, for reference I'm HR rank 162. Should there be any specific items I should bring, ie; weapons, armor, buff items, status? Any tips or recommendations would be great thank you.
So I've been having an issue hunting Gogma, it could be that I'm just bad at the game lol but I find that I'm struggling just getting past first phase. My thought is defense and armor buffs/resistances so should I be focusing on fire defense or overall defense? I'm fine with hunting other monsters for gear parts but Gogma is the only one I struggle with.
I know how it's going to sound but yes I am a dual blades user but I want to branch out and use some other weapons. Problem is I don't know where to start. I started the game with longsword and used glaive in world but I can't seem to get behind other weapons right now. Any ideas on what I should use next? I've been hunting all 10* arch-tempered monsters for a few days and just want to try something new.
