The Jenna Ortega situation is so fucking annoying

I'm a 24 yr old woman so I am in the woman-sphere i guess. The amount of insane word salad and just echo-chamber made up "he said she said" misinformation spreading around abt Elias is so annoying as a fan since I was a teen. As a woman, it's genuinely a bunch of nothing-burger Stacy ass women who have never engaged with punk music in their lives just parroting whatever made up shit they heard on a tiktok somewhere. For some reason this baseless amount of negative attention just annoys me to no end every time i see it. I wish people whose interest in music doesnt evolve from whatever album Sabrina Carpenter or Ariana Grande just came out with would just mind their own parasocial business

Changing last name. Be honest : how cringe is it?

My husband and I just got married and due to family reasons we are not taking his last name. We were really struggling to find a family member whose last name we could adopt but in any situation, it would have been really dramatic. So we decided to change our last name to Eclipse, partially because it sounds awesome , partially because YOLO, and partially because it holds some significance to our relationship. So honestly speaking , how cringy do you think this is to do? Having the last name is one thing, but friends and family knowing we went through the lengthy name change process to get this result feels embarrassing. We personally like it and know that fact should matter more than anything else, but we live in the real world where people like to have opinions about everything so.
