Dinner

Do you have primary school aged children with extra curricular activities and no stay at home parent?

What are you doing for dinner on weeknights?

Mine are older primary aged and I'm at a loss on how we're going to stay employed, feed our children and manage homework and hobbies. Interested in what a typical weeknight for others in this situation looks like.

Edited to add: I phrased this poorly. I'm particularly interested in scheduling rather than cooking methods. Are you eating before or after activities? What time are your activities at? Are you eating together as a family? We've something for at least one child that runs from 7pm-8pm on Tuesdays, 7pm-8:30pm on Wednesdays, 5pm-6:30pm on Thursdays, and 7:30pm-9pm on Fridays. Everything's within 15 mins from home but this seems like a punishing schedule with little room for homework or indeed basic conversation 😭😭😭

Home charger

I don't have solar panels at the moment but would like to get them in the future. I've just bought a Renault 4 EV and was going to get on to my energy supplier (Energia) to get a Zippi charger installed which seems to be more or less a standard €1199 including the SEAI grant. What (if anything) do I need to know or do now or when it is being installed to make sure it is compatible with solar in future.
