I finally understand navy.

After quite a while of never being bale to beat the British and American fleets, i can finally say that navy is easy.

If you want to learn here's what i did, spammed out only DD's with the design below, if you are playing a nation like Germany i would also recommend getting some heavy ships out as well.

If you want to, you can add a fire control but i usually don't. If you are broke or fight navally under green air replace the dual purpose rapid fire guns with the normal ones, you could also remove the AA if you need less IC.

(This screenshot is to show that you don't need a huge starting navy like Japan to get good results)

One more note I would like to add is that if you are playing a nation like Germany that is mostly land based, i would not recommend spending time updating and getting a huge and amazing fleet, as it just wastes time, of course you can still build the destroyers show above.

Some last misc notes: If you do not want to use these designs, don't, Navy is decently easy once you figure it out. You can do torp destroyers, light-cruisers, whatever you want.

Always keep your navy is death stacks if possible, i normally put my subs and a few destroyers on patrol and my main fleet on strike force.

My review for WoTC

I decided to play Warden of the coast after on my last post someone recommended it to me.

I will say this off the bat, I did like the mod. It's a very choice heavy mod, you choose between one character or village from the other. This affects the ending. I do like this part of the mod. The worldspace and voice acting is also good, oblivion could use work tough.

However, this mod was a bugfest for me. At the start my companions started spam sheathing and unsheathing their weapon, so I reinstalled the mod, it was fine ive done it with mods before, the middle of the game worked fine a few bugs nothing major. The end is where everything fell apart, (spoiler warning) >!When you bring the fight to oblivion and go into oblivion itself, half the Dagon speaking triggers didn't work, so i had to go back through oblivion and then it worked, I used Vaermenia's cloak to get pass the bridge, this is when things really start going bad. The quest then updates to go past the bride with the cloak. I thought that meant it was completed but nope after i waited and got rid of my previous auto saves I realised that that never triggered. so now i'm softlocked and my most recent manual save is from before the mod started. !< tldr: I'm softlocked at the end of the mod.

Other than that the writing was decent, I did say that this was a choice driven mod, hoever i wish there was more choices.

Writing 6/10
Worldspace 7/10 (they should have put a little more love into oblivion instead of it being a discount soul cairn)
Bugs 3/10
Overall 6/10

Would I recommend this mod? With the experience I had no. I might play it again in the future but not anytime soon. However I have seen that people do like this mod and never experienced the bugs I had. So if it looks fun to you try it.

A list of story mods I have played

I wanted to make a list on what to recommend to people, this is in order 1 being and the low the worse, none of these were or are bad, just a preference list.

  1. VIGILANT: My favorite mod OAT, great story tons to explore barely any bugs.
  2. Wyrmstooth: If you are looking for a more vanilla new land mod, this is the best one.
  3. Forgotten City: One of the best stories in Skyrim, somewhat short but very fun and good.
  4. Identity Crisis: Another short but sweet one, 0 bugs worth a try.
  5. Helgen Reborn: This one can get a little repetitive but i really enjoyed the story.
  6. Olenveld: Again, a bit repetitive but still good story.
  7. Beyond Reach: Amazing story, huge landscape, but the ending was a little underwhelming.
  8. Unslaad: Even without voicing it was great.
  9. Moon and star: Very unique and short story I enjoyed a lot.
  10. LoTD: Lots of well made content, haven't finished.
  11. Beyond Skyrim Bruma: Very good and well made, still waiting for full release.
  12. Wheels of Lull: I don't know why but this one was so good for me.
  13. Project AHO: I enjoyed this one but it did get kind of boring near the middle with the tea.
  14. Dac0da: My personal least favorite in the Vicn series so far, still amazing and interesting.
  15. Falskaar: Good story and fun content, just felt too big.
  16. Sirenroot: Very well made but i honestly don't get the appeal that much.
  17. Brotherhood of old: A big buggy and some choices I didn't like, still good.
  18. Darkend: Very different, no quest marks but it was kind of annoying, still great.
  19. Clockwork: Very repetitive imo, but well made.

HM: Become Jarl of Ivarstead: Repetitive, reward was great through.
