Is there anyone in the area who repairs old clocks? We have an old electric Seth Thomas clock that we’ve relied on it for ages, but it recently stopped working ☹️

In an effort to diminish reliance on streaming platforms, I’ve started re-building a physical media collection. Today I was thrilled to find this dvd set of the OG Brideshead Revisited

My husband got this ST clock from a movie theater where he worked in the 1980s. It finally stopped working recently and I can’t find anyone in our area to repair it. I was wondering if this could be a diy project? We’re both pretty handy. Or if there was a way to convert it to a battery. Any advice is greatly appreciated! I can’t even begin to say how many times a day I look to check the time on it!

We planted a river birch several weeks ago and it was doing great until this weekend when we discovered many of the leaves eaten and a black substance (I’m guessing poo) on some leaves. We haven’t seen any insects. Is there a way to save it? Thanks for any advice!
