Need help shifting my mindset (PCOS/PMOS)

My husband and I plan to start TTC in the next three months or so. I was diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS (while already on the pill) when I was 21 (I am now 30). I’ve been on the pill consistently for nearly 12 years now and haven’t stopped them yet, so I truly don’t know what my natural cycle is like now. I can remember it being fairly regular when I was in high school.

The point of this post is, I feel like I’ve already convinced myself that it’s going to take a while for us to conceive because of my PCOS, which is obviously not a great mindset to have going into it. Has anyone else experienced these feelings? If anyone could share some perspective or thoughts on how to shake this negative mindset, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!
