need some help
I'm 18 years old and I'm trying to leave Egypt and seek asylum in a European country. I know I need to apply for a visa from Egypt first before I can travel.
I already have my passport, and a friend abroad has sent me an invitation letter. My biggest concern is timing—I need to leave before September because after that my passport situation won't allow me to travel.
I also took a gap year instead of starting university, so I'm trying to leave legally as soon as possible. I plan to enter Europe legally and then apply for asylum after I arrive. I understand that if I do this, I may not be able to return to Egypt for many years, and I've accepted that.
Could someone explain the visa application process from Egypt and let me know what documents I'll need? If there's anything important I should know or any advice that could help, I'd really appreciate it.
