A genuine inquiry. Please read patiently.

We are living in times where infidelity, divorce and relationship conflicts are on the rise, people anxiously ask about the timings when they can be married or get into relationships but is it not vigilant to firstly analyse one's chart and actually assess whether relationships are even something supposed to be pursued?

I am inclined to believe that there are many charts which indicate catastrophic relationships and considering the current sociological reality of ours, those results are more likely to be manifested as opposed to the previous times.

So what do you all think about this? How can one judge if relationships are better avoided for the concerned native? Because believe it or not, a traumatic relationship can screw someone over in ways the Fomo of never being in one never would.

Astrology thrives on the irrational striving of humanity.

I see people everywhere bemoaning about how they have been cursed with a horrendous fate, their grievances genuinely make it seem as if they could have been perpetually happy had their horoscopes indicated otherwise. Everyone asks their questions with an assumption that fulfilment of a certain desire is almost going to be the point of a euphoric breakthrough for them, and this is something which is never quite challenged, why do people not question the legitimacy of desires to begin with? And most importantly why don't astrologers point out to the people seeking consultations that their presumed idea of perpetual happiness after achieving something is a delusion? All the desires boil down to either getting a job or getting married, both of which before the approach seem as the best things that could happen to the being. If people could only realise that getting married won't have curtains fall down for them like in the movies, they would at least stop over romanticising it, all the social institutions exist to distract the being from the void of nothingness by making it focus on the new challenges and obstacles which these institutions would bring to its life now, the biology is not some pleasure dispensing system, it has been created for survival and threat detection, the temporary pleasures one experiences are just enough incentives for the being to continue to survive, blissful marriage is a misnomer, it could either be an average or worse marriage, in the best case scenario, it's limited to a mechanical coexistence, social coercion, and parasitic maintenance, initial idealization "this is transcendent" collides with reality, compatibility gaps, routine, external pressures like kids, finances, norms and the social conformity keeps many unions intact long after passion dies. Young people romanticize them because evolution and culture push pair-bonding, even the advantages are only visible to the one standing outside the system, the one who's actually living in the reality don't sure as hell wakes up everyday and adores having the physical presence of someone, it all regresses to routine and mutual dependence eventually, there's a huge disproportion between the individual's expectations of a serenity and the actual resulting chaos and bondages. But having said that it's an institution that does what it's designed the best for: provide the being with a long list of tasks to be undertaken and problems to be solved so that it doesn't go astray and meanwhile the humanity could also be perpetuated, this system as much as we fail to realise never promised us the happiness and contentment that we mistakenly have been seeking through it for all this time. This is exactly what the philosophers and theologians alike have called to be the blind striving of humanity, which is what drives the misery in the existence. The solution is not to withdraw but to understand one's place in the existence and stop ascribing so high of a value to the things which can't give us what we essentially seek. Vedanta said it, Samkhya said it, Buddhism tried to warn us about it, existential philosophers asserted it, but to an average person all of those sayings were stupid and this is where I have problems with astrology.

Astrologers in their readings tend to amplify the already distressed and deluded mind of the being by making it seem as if certain plantery positions promise more happiness than others. Not once have astrologers made people even question the extent to which their desires are even real. But when you think about it, why would they do it? Clearly their businesses wouldn't thrive if people actually surrendered themselves to the will of God and tried to live a virtuous and righteous life with the Stoic realisation about the illusion of their desires, in such a case they wouldn't be fearful of their insignificant futures and obviously wouldn't feel any need to even consult them. I mean forget about the position of your 7th lord, there's no position which guarantees you that artificially anticipated happiness that you are simulating in your mind now, even the best positions are doomed to have you follow the same monotnous structures involving fading of passion, familial obligations, navigating routine and conflicts eventually ending in something not dramatically different than how it has been for your forefathers. It's never that envisioned cherry blossom forever.

This is not supposed to dissuade people from pursuing things but to make them understand the true value of the things they pursue and what they realistically have to give them, astrology is rendered meaningless for the one who is living in the present and knows the worth of his desires, he surely doesn't need some astrological validations to start engaging in acts of benevolence, for him the altruism is an end in itself for living a humanistic life, he doesn't need to know in advance whether his marriage would be good or not because he lives in subservience to the supreme authority and would happily take his part in whatever role would be entrusted to him in the temporary theatre of life. Arjuna didn't need to verify his transits before engaging in the battle, dispensing one's obligations as the detached observer is the only way of life that for once lets the being breathe in peace. Why should I be concerned about my fate when I didn't choose anything about me to begin with? What's the perverted desire to somehow take control of something you don't even know anything about, why not for once let your egos be dissolved within the greater order of existence and embrace love of one's fate? Why bother ourselves trying to fake control of something we do realise very well we don't have an influence over, it's like clenching the sharp end of the knife and suffering more in imagination than in reality.

What does our current understanding say about the bizzare visions reported by people having gone through NDEs?

I haven't been able to wrap my head around the afterlife experiences narrated in theology but I recently came across an idea that seemed particularly pressing and quite compelling even despite the obvious lack of scientific evidence in this regard, it's about what if the consciousness gets relegated to a liminal space upon death which eternally replays the worst and most dreaded moments of one's life in a loop? The notion of a personalised purgatory rooted in one's deepest fears and insecurities could be plausible enough if there was still a way for the conscious experience to continue in a state of eternal nightmare.

Maybe for the person who committed deeds that he'd known were morally contemptible, a state of witnessing the entire miserable arc remains, not because of any divine condemnation but as a result of the subconscious having been aware of the horrors and remorse throughout, which could have only been suppressed for so long? What if the purported vision of afterlife was just another state of consciousness accessible only upon a severance of the mind with the current plane of reality to the point of no return?

The most contentious point about all of this however is the possibly flawed assumption of separating the consciousness from the concretely neurological mechanisms we already know of, but then again I don't think both neuroscience and philosophy of mind have had anything significant or conclusive enough to say about the nature of consciousness so far anyway.

Ketu in 6th house is a silent executioner.

If Ketu remains in the 6th house especially in its signs of exaltation (Scorpio or Sagittarius), this creates a "Shatru Hanta" Yog that's significantly more potent than the one created by both the placement of Sun and Mars in here, the best part about this placement is that the native would maintain a pacifist attitude towards its enemies, he would remain significantly withdrawn from engaging in conflicts, there are people who willingly like to walk in conflicts just for the kick of it which is what happens with Mars or Sun in 6th house but the native with Ketu here would slip quietly from wherever he senses the conflict and somehow the situation would still reward him for that. It's almost the textbook manifestation of 'Do Nothing but still Win'.

This also creates a strong dislike for following routines, we generally see people who don't like to actively engage with 6th house matters, they don't like to be regular in attending school/college and can even feel suffocated in their routine works. It also attracts certain mysterious diseases where your pathology is never able to give you a reasonable cause for the disease to have occurred but it gets cured just as mysteriously as it had arrived.

The sign placement of Ketu would tell us further about the attitude of the individual with regard to dealing with conflicts, for instance in Sagittarius, a person uses his philosophical thoughts to justify disengagement with enemies and routines. Ketu also becomes exceptionally strong here if it's closer to the degree of the ascendant and in its own Nakshatra.

I mean marriage in general for everyone is kind of a toil in the long run but is it supposed to be more problematic for cancer ascendants?

Let's just say someone has Sun, Moon, Venus & Ketu in a single house. Ketu is at 1°, Moon is at 16° , Sun & Venus are both at 28°. How do you interpret a situation like this?
