2021 Eco No start after seized alternator
2021 Eco in a Rebel.
Alternator seized and smoked the starter. ( press to start wouldn't release the start circuit until smoke was pouring out of the starter. ) Had to disconnect the battery to get it to calm down.
Changed the starter, still not knowing it was the alternator. Hooked everything up, same result.
Found the seized alternator and replaced it with the last MOPAR unit in existence. $$$
Reset the body control module. Tried to start and nothing.
Verified battery voltage and solenoid signal at starter. Bypassed the solenoid circuit. No joy.
No codes stored anywhere.
What am I missing?
