If Jesse's position is as factual and defensible as he claims, why can't he make his arguments honestly?

He’s been on an increasinly unhinged rampage on Twitter lately. People are calling him out daily for a pattern of intellectual dishonesty and hypocrisy. Images of some examples and tweet links at end of post.

Jesse repeatedly relies on inflammatory framing, misleading screenshots, selective cropping, cherry-picked examples stripped of context, and claims that fall apart against the source material.

One would think a self-described "journalist" and "media critic" would not be ok with repeatedly having his integrity called into question, and being confronted with his prior proven examples of dishonesty and misinformation. But he doesn't stop his shitposting.

If Jesse wants people to understand his point of view, he's not doing a good job. If a person has to distort evidence and use shady tactics to make their point, then it simply isn't as strong as they think it is.

That said, I’m starting to think he knows exactly what he’s doing. It seems that he wants people to focus on the way he makes his arguments. He likes keeping the drama in the gutter. Because he knows his points don’t hold up under scrutiny.

And when he’s called out, he rarely engages with the actual criticism - certainly not with clarity and honesty. He routinely avoids the substance and makes it personal, implying the criticism is driven by bad faith and antisemitic pile-ons. I suppose that is the reason behind his imbecilic responses like “Stop attacking Jews” or “Stop talking over Jews.” Who argues like that?!

It's so strange to see a once-respected figure in Canadian journalism increasingly looking like the boy who cried wolf.

Eventually, the only people paying him any attention will be fellow unhinged Zionists. And it seems that's exactly what he wants.

The way Jesse speaks to women is deplorable

We all know he's gone after quite a few women journalists - mainly WOC.

But he typically takes a journalistic tone himself and sticks to his intellectually dishonest presentation of the "facts".

I don't recall him resorting to petty, asinine name calling like this!

Calling Rachel Gilmore a "historically ignorant, hateful idiot" is really something, even if it were true.

It's like his brain isn't even working anymore - he's just nodding his head erratically the way he does while he moves those thumbs together on his phone, hitting post on whatever diarrhoea comes out.

I'm so curious about his wife.

I'd be absolutely mortified and ashamed if my husband was saying stuff like this, regardless if we agreed on the reason for it.
