Charging status not updating when using a home charger

Charging status not updating when using a home charger

I'm using the Mazda 6e app with my new Mazda 6e GT, but the app doesn't recognise when the car is charging on my home 7 kW Tesla Wall Connector.

The car's display correctly shows that it's charging at 7 kW, but the app continues to show the previous battery percentage and doesn't display a charging status or symbol.

It would be great if this could be investigated and fixed in a future update. Reliable, real-time charging information is an important feature for EV owners.

** Update: The vehicle has finished charging and has been disconnected at 100%, however the Mazda 6e app is still stuck showing 85%.

I’ve restarted and refreshed the app and restarted my Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra, but there’s no change. Any remote vehicle function just shows “Connecting with vehicle” followed by “Please try again later.”

The issue occurs regardless of whether I’m using Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity.

Horn/lights/boot all work from within the app. Last connection showing is today at the time I plugged the external charger in.

I charged at e Evie fast charger yesterday & could see the status within the app.

New Mazda 6e User

G'day. Only had two days. Can you disable the mirrors tilting when reversing?

Preferably permanently.

Introduction

G’day everyone! 👋

Just joined the group and thought I’d say hello. I’m Nick, from regional Victoria, Australia and I’ve just taken the plunge and ordered a 2026 Mazda 6e GT in Machine Grey. ⚡️🚗

It’s being delivered in late September, so I’m currently in that dangerous stage of researching everything I possibly can before it arrives! 😂

Looking forward to learning from everyone here, especially around home charging, public charging, accessories, range and getting the most out of the 6e.

Cheers, Nick 🍻

Linux Kodachi V9.01 Released — It’s Back!

Hey folks 👋

Just a quick heads-up for anyone who’s been following Linux Kodachi over the years — after nearly two years of silence, it’s officially been re-spun and revived by Warith! 🎉

That means it’s now available again for everyone to download.

🔗 Download / Info: https://www.kodachi.cloud/wiki/bina/index.html

Kodachi remains a hardened, privacy-focused Debian-based distro built for users who want strong anonymity without wrestling with complex setups.

It ships with a fully pre-configured security stack: failover VPN routing, Tor integration, DNSCrypt, leak-prevention mechanisms, and anti-forensic protections.

The goal is simple — secure out-of-the-box computing with enough depth for power users who want to dig deeper.

If you’ve been waiting for Kodachi to return, it’s back. 🦾
