I know a lot of people dislike how "easy" it has become to shiny hunt now but I love it. I have never gotten a shiny previous to this game because of my inability to grind in games for hours and hours with nothing else to do. This one keeps me engaged with the mass outbreaks and working on perfecting my dex while I shiny hunt that it doesn't seem like a slog. I've currently got 10 shinies and a shalpha Bidoof. My favorite so far is either shiny ralts or shiny Ninetales.

Also as much as I love the nostalgia of the older gens (yellow was my first) I think this game is my favorite in the series. I love the story and gameplay.

I just finished getting Arceus and the shiny charm. This is the first game I have had enough motivation to obtain every pokemon in the pokedex. I really enjoyed the story and gameplay. I 100% would like some more games like this in other regions. Now I'm going to slowly work on perfecting the dex while I shiny/Alpha hunt. 😊✌️

I've been playing since Yellow but didn't know about shinys until SWSH and always finished the games with no patience to go back and shiny hunt. I have the main story done but am working on side quests and filling up the dex.

Happened to see a shiny Buizel while I was doing Magikarp research tasks in Obsidian Fields and snatched it up.

Couple hours later I was doing the massive mass outbreaks quest in Cobalt Coastlands and found a shiny Prinlup.

Was having a shitty day so it was much appreciated ☺️
