How to make AI generated code production safe?

I have been using AI coding agents for few months now and many times, it is hard to trust the code written by AI.

Like once, I was in a situation where AI-generated code assumed certain global variables and it failed in prod once multiple processes started running.

How much of “AI failing in production” do you think comes down to bad or missing context?

Why is finding leads on LinkedIn so hard?

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to find people on LinkedIn to reach out to do product validation and it has been super slow for me.

I have to send connection requests, then wait for them to accept. After that, if they accept, then I get a chance to talk.

I am not using the spamming technique as I want genuine conversation with people. Am I doing something wrong?

Is there some better methods you follow?

eve-knowledge for eve agents!

I built eve-knowledge, a small package that adds an agent/knowledge folder convention for Eve agents.

It is useful when you don’t want to stuff product docs, support runbooks, policies, or FAQs into instructions.md.

Flow:

  1. Run npx eve-knowledge init
  2. Add docs to agent/knowledge
  3. Run npx eve-knowledge index
  4. Your agent can search that knowledge through a generated search_knowledge tool and answer with citations

Repo: https://github.com/aiswarya797/eve-knowledge
npm: https://www.npmjs.com/package/eve-knowledge

Would love feedback from people building Eve agents :)

How many teams have already had problems with AI code going into production?

How many teams have already had problems with AI code going into production? And how have you handled that?

I am not sure how we can figure out if AI code is production safe or not. Any tips?

Which of these is the major problem being discussed in your teams?

Are any of these topics getting discussed in your teams as well these days:

1) Are AI coding tools producing more shippable code, or more rework?
2) Can we connect AI usage/spend to accepted PRs, deploys, or defect rates?
3) How do we keep the speed gains without AI coding spend getting out of control?

How are you handling these discussions? Any solutions you have figured already?

Validating my B2B product idea using the "mom test"

I was reading the Mom test by Rob Fitzpatrick where he said that we should not talk about our product but rather talk to customers about what problems they have and how burning those problems are so that they will pay for a solution.

The idea is interesting, but I was wondering would it make sense if I were to talk in industry leaders.

First of all, how will I get that opportunity to have that kind of a conversation? I am sending cold emails to folks, if I ask them "When was the last time you saw this problem" - would they be ready for a call?

Has anyone figured how to apply this correctly? Any cold email tips you could share which can get me calls?

Appreciate the help, thanks!
