Quick lane tech and second year automotive student here. I've used a few different shop management systems since I started in the industry, and I've been building my own on the side (I've got a software dev background too). Not trying to sell anything, just want some input.
What software does your shop run? What do you like about it? What does it get wrong? Anything missing that you wish it had, even something small?
What's the thing that annoys you most about it day to day, the stuff you end up working around instead of using?
Even "it's fine, no complaints" is useful. Just want to build something that works for everyone at any size of shop.
