Has anyone been impacted by Dan Mohler?

He is Todd White’s mentor and they have similar verbiage, beliefs and mannerisms.

I was deeply impacted by both but especially Dan.
I now believe both preach a FALSE gospel.

How it started

Dan was told his new gospel through a spirit that appeared to him- claiming to be god. This is also how other cults and false gospels have been coming into the world for thousands of years.

It took me a long time to see and untangle from Dan’s sonship message. He seems so happy and genuine, but if you are willing to test his new gospel with the traditional biblical gospel- the error is more obvious. He also bashes more traditional Christianity often.

He is strongly Word Faith and very self-referential.

You may notice that the Gospel of Dan is very sensual and his personality sells the message. He appears to be fun, goofy and free.
BUT you will hear a condemning tone and hatred of the more traditional church in his messages.

He calls that a spirit told him that Jesus did not die for sin, but to rescue “lost sons.” It sounds good - right? Identity…sonship…love

It all sounds good and biblical. Except that it’s NOT.

And I AM charismatic so that’s not my issue.

I used to visit Dan every July 4th when he’d visit a local church. I was baptized by him. I loved the whole movement…the laughing…the signs and wonders.

But I learned a sign and wonder can be a LYING sign and wonder that supports/gives evidence to - a lie. Or another Gospel.

We were warned about this in Scripture!!! But it took years for me to see it…

And it’s painful to untangle from this movement that I once loved.

If you remove from Dan his smile and apparent freedom…and just evaluate his teaching with the black and white of Scripture- it falls short.

But is extremely deceptive and extremely beguiling. I mean who doesn’t want to “become love?” That teaching helped me in a very hard time in my life.

But it is NOT Scripture.

My friends and mentors are friends with Dan. I was in deep.

Mike Winger’s expose on Bethel Jan 2026 started my freedom journey. It’s not easy. There’s a lot of pain and grief but I’m also incredibly grateful that REAL Jesus rescued me.

My husband and I had “Yayy God” t-shirts and Yay God license plates.
These are Dan phrases for those of you who don’t know him well.

If you understand the issues with Todd White- you need to know that the message he teaches - originated from Dan Mohler which originated from a spiritual encounter that gave Dan (alone by personal revelation) this “new” gospel.

Anyone else used to follow Dan and doesn’t anymore?

I wanted to attend law school since my years in undergrad- 30 years ago!!! - but was sidetracked by a small music career and then parenting a large family. I have since been in education for 18 years and have the opportunity to either pursue ed leadership (ass't principal type role) or finally pursue the law school dream.

I have taken the LSAT 2x, am studying now and am enrolled in a pipeline program.

I attended Yale, with a horrible UGPA as I dropped out to be a singer...face palm...but since have had many years of great work experience including one year as a UN rep.

Another important point- I'm remarried to a super supportive husband who is a bit skeptical of law, but super supportive of ME. I have 3 grown kids, one graduating high school this year, one still in elementary and an aging parent that I care for.

I actually DON'T believe my age disqualifies me but am happy to hear your thoughts. I am interested in becoming a prosecutor, or some other type of public interest work. I look younger than my age, my whole family does.

There's a lot of chatter about AI destroying law, Trump killing law schools and other concerning warnings on the internet. Is it foolish or risky to sacrifice 4 years hard years to attend law school part time while working?

What would you say to a close friend or relative considering this pivot? I get that many lawyers are reasonably smart but what other personality or character traits do you feel that a successful lawyer would have?

Teachers are generally hard-working, rule followers, people focused, sacrificial. Is there any overlap with the field of law? I've done advocacy in the past at the UN and with my local city and state government.

Thanks!

Hello all,

I'm a teacher studying for the LSAT planning to make the pivot into law. Have any of you done that? What's your opinion? I'm over 40, Ivy League grad, planned to go into law 30 years ago but sidelined by a short music career, kids and a very fun divorce. My new spouse is supportive and my kids are almost out of the nest except for one.

I see posts about lawyers going into teaching but less about the reverse. What say you?
