Does it ever feel fulfilling?

I can’t figure out if I’m dealing with severe burnout or I just suck at this job; it feels like I’m always barely keeping my head above water with the amount of ambiguity and number of random ideas/pivots thrown at me.

Can you describe the situation / conditions that have led to any sense of joy / accomplishment? What conditions makes or break the experience?

[Avian] Sudden weight gain

While we wait on the vet, hoping to get a second opinion here.

14 yr old Green Cheek conure.

Harrison Adult Lifetime pellets (80%), vegetable, grain and legume chop (20%)
Taken to annual preventive check ups almost every year
Weighed weekly; always a healthy steady 69-73 grams
Sudden weight gain to 86 grams in March, was taken to avian vet, prescribed Lupron (100 mcg) and calcium, gradually dropped weight for a few weeks to 78 grams by end of April
Sudden weight gain to 100 grams and official chunky munkey status
No other symptoms, other than mild feather picking during hormone season since she turned 12 that we have been managing to some extend
High appetite, mostly being a perch potato
8-12 hours of sleep with blackout curtains

We went to an avian vet again for full blood work and xray today. Waiting on blood work results from the lab.

We are expected to go back in 4 weeks for another round of X-rays and blood work.

Thoughts? Opinions? Anything notable on the xray?
