Sophia Learning / Study.com?

I’m transferring to Chamberlain soon, I have all but 5 prereqs/gen-ed courses completed. I’ve heard that Chamberlain accepts Sophia Learning or Study.com credits, but some also say they have recently stopped accepting credits from those sites. Does anyone know if they still do? The courses I need are mainly humanities credits. This would save me about a semester so I’d like to do it if possible.

Questions About Transfer Credits & Accreditation

I’m currently finishing up my freshman year at a local 4-year university. I am interested in transferring to Chamberlain University probably after this upcoming Fall semester. I have 55 credits at my current university. Most are nursing prereqs and credits from AP classes taken in high school. For those who have transferred to Chamberlain, what is the process like for transferring credits? Out of your total credit amount, how many credits did they accept?

I also heard some rumors on Chamberlain’s accreditation. Some have said that it limits job opportunities. Is this true? I’ve only heard that some campuses have been put on probation. I live in Michigan if that helps.

I was put on academic probation

I (18F) have just completed my first year of university and I did not do well at all. My first semester was okay, I earned mostly A/B+ grades and one C+ on my prerequisites. However, I was put on academic probation 2nd semester because I failed A&P and chemistry (both 5 credit courses). I earned poor grades due to personal circumstances that required me to work 2 jobs and I wasn’t able to prioritize school. I’m disappointed because I have a great academic history, I graduated high school as valedictorian and had no problem earning good grades in college level coursework. I am transferring from my current university to an accelerated BSN program at a different school. I hope to perform well on my future courses now that I am in a position where I can support myself. I don’t think I will have an issue earning my bachelor’s, however I really want to go the NP route. I know the odds are not currently in my favor, but do I have a chance at NP? I am currently retaking the two classes I failed and so far I am doing great. I just need realistic advice
