Tips for seasonal work job interview over Zoom?

Hi everyone!

I have a job interview lined up for retail at a ski resort in Aspen, CO. I'm super excited, but the only job interviews I've ever done have been for low stakes, in person retail jobs in my hometown. Do you guys have any specific tips for interviewing for a seasonal job? or any tips for interviewing over a zoom meeting? Thanks so much!

How long does it take to get a Xanterra/seasonal job from start+finish?

Hi guys! I'm trying to figure out my timeline for applying to Xanterra jobs at several parks (and honestly any seasonal job).

My start date won't be until August 15th, so there's about a month and a half until then. If I apply right now, will I actually be considered, or is my start date too late? Or is it too early and applications like this take longer to process? As a 23 y/o female vanlifer, I am beyond ready to start seasonal work. Grateful for any advice!

When should I apply if I know I'll have a late start date?

Hi everyone! I'm a 23 y/o F van-lifer looking for a seasonal job at a ntl park. My starting date will be in mid August, which is a few months past the typical starting dates for seasonal work. I'm wondering when I should apply to jobs to ensure I won't be brushed aside. I am able to stay until the end of the season in late fall, so I will definitely be staying longer than the college kids who have to leave mid-season to go to school.

Will applying right now be too soon if my starting date is in a month and a half? Or is it already too late to apply? How much notice do places like Tetons. Yellowstone, Yosemite, etc actually want/need?

I'm ready to give everything to this bucket list dream of mine. Any advice appreciated!!
