Palio di Siena

I see the Palio due to take place today has been suspended until tomorrow due to rain. We had originally planned on going today but changed our minds as logistically it wasn’t working out for us as we only arrived in the area this morning so had changed to going tomorrow (the day preceding) but now that means if we stick to our original plans to go to Siena tomorrow we will actually be there for the Palio. It’s meant to be…. So any advice on parking outside the city walls would be really helpful as this is a bucket list event for me and seems written in the stars to be there! Driving is really our only option of transportation

Vineyards Montepulciano

We visit in August, and for one of our days we plan on cycling in and around montepulciano so both of us can enjoy a few glasses of wine. I’m looking for some recommendations for nice vineyards with views not too far of a cycle away from Montepulciano. Having a rental car limits one of us to stay sober 👀 what are everyone’s tips on navigating wine tastings with rental cars/bikesq

Palio di Siena 2026 recommendations…w

We are visiting Tuscany in August and happen to be in the siena area the day of the Palio di Siena. I know driving in the city it basically a no no, has anyone experienced this and/or parked nearby town and trained in? We understand we likely wont be able to actually witness the race without a ticket as it’s out of our budget but would love to be amongst the buzz. Any help is much appreciated
