Foggy & Boggy Camp in the Comeraghs

Note that the camp fire circles/stuff in there was there already, we did a (small cleanup) when we left.

Hello everyone, please delete if not allowed but does anyone know any campgrounds in Wexford to camp in this weekend?

Sorry for the post as I know this is not exactly wild camping. I am looking to camp near a beach in Wexford this weekend but all the campgrounds seem to be motorhomes/campervans only. Any suggestions

Hello!

I'm going camping (Tent) this weekend for the first time and I'd really appreciate some recommendations on where to go?

Has anyone gone multi-day camping, or is it always “in late out early”?

Camped a bit around the island but since living in Ireland I find myself always missing camping where spending the whole day out is the purpose. I recognise that arriving late and leaving early is necessary because you’re usually chancing your arm on somebody’s land, but has anyone else found a place to reasonably/safely camp where you get to wake up, cook yourself a nice leisurely breakfast, take a big day walk, spend a second night, etc?

I know many aren’t keen to share their own spots and rightfully so, but just hoping to find others who have found a way to camp where sleeping isn’t the main event :(

Spot near Blackwater in Wexford

I've a place down a quiet burreen with a small paddock out back. There's a drain to the septic, water to refill tanks and it's there's if anyone is looking for a place to park up or pitch up. Don't mind campfires either and I'm very 420/mushroom friendly!

Its not exactly wild camping but you'll be left alone and can at least leave your camp and go explore with having to pack up or just chill out all day with having to watch out for farmers or land owners and don't need to pay me anything to stay either!

PM for the eircode

Wild camping spots in Ulster?

Never been wild camping before, looking to go with a couple friends over summer. Anyone know any good spots in Ulster, preferably up a mountain with a lake view?

First Wild Camping Trip in Wicklow – Looking for Recommendations

Hi all,

Me and 2 friends (mid 30s to 40s) are heading to Wicklow for our first wild camping trip and looking for some recommendations.

We're planning to hike for 3-4 hours, then pitch a tent, have some food, a few beers and enjoy the views. We understand the Leave No Trace principles and will be taking everything home with us, including a small portable BBQ/fire pit.

As we're carrying a fair bit of gear, we're ideally looking for somewhere that's only a 10-15 minute walk from the car but still has great scenery and feels remote.

I was thinking Glenmalure Valley, but I'm open to any suggestions. Where would you recommend?

Cheers!
