On her stories today she said they are taking a trip for their ten year anniversary. That they haven’t been on a trip the two of them in soooo long.

No one wants to be a teacher. We don’t get paid nearly enough. The conditions are brutal. There’s a government of buffoons that don’t want to support education in any which way. Kids don’t face consequences - at home and at school. Kids don’t have to turn in their assignments to pass onto the next grade. Literally. I have had students who came to school for four days in the entire year. No child left behind! We are desperately short staffed that people without teaching degrees are being pulled off the street. Awful teachers are kept employed. Parents are just as overwhelmed and some are completely checked out. Kids aren’t told no at home. Kids are given a phone/ipad to keep entertained. Kids attention spans are shot due to short form content constantly being poured into their brains. Parents can be so viscous at teachers. Everyone is drowning.
I mean I could go on and on… and on. And then on some more. It starts up top!!!
What do you do when a grocery store cart only has a spot for one kid?
