Just want somewhere too speak about my feelings.
I genuinely feel like the luckiest unlucky person ever.
2026 has been the hardest year of my life. I lost my childhood pet, got into my first serious relationship and fell completely in love, only for him to end up in hospital with doctors saying he may never be the same. I got kicked out of college, my grandma was diagnosed with dementia, and I’ve lost friends.
But somehow, amongst all the heartbreak, I’ve also got a better job, passed my theory and driving test, made new friends and got a new car.
It’s such a strange feeling having some of the happiest moments of my life happen alongside some of the most heartbreaking. I’m grateful, but I’m exhausted. I just want life to be gentle with me for a little while.
