Hello. I just received my slim bolt yesterday and tried to place an Energel ink cartridge in it. It did not fit (too long}, and no adjustments could fix the issue. I have read that I shouldn't have to trim the cartridge, but I did to measure how long was the max it would take. I ended up trimming it to almost the same size as the cartridge that came with it (Parker G2 length).

I really like the pen, but would like to use energel cartridges. That's one of the reasons I bought it. any ideas on what I can do to fix it, or what I am doing wrong? Do I need to just send it in and have it replaced?

Hello. I just received my BID Slim Bolt , and immediately tried putting in an Energel. No matter how I adjusted it, it didn't seem to fit, and so I had to trim it. Am I doing something wrong? it seems like people say you don't need to trim it to fit.

Hello. I just obtained a couple of pens (Clickshift and Campen) that use the Parker G2 style pen refills. I love the 0.5mm Jetstream sxr-600 ink refill, but I was wondering if there are any equivelent alternatives that are easier and cheaper to obtain. I have tried the Ohto needle point, but it seemed to skip a lot.

I wish the Energels were in the Parker G2 style also. I just tried one and love the 0.38mm tip.

Hello. when trying Hoomancs patch for InShot, the app does not work properly. It can be opened, but if I select anything, it closes. I verified this happens only when patched. No errors are thrown when patching. Anyone else having this issue?

Hello. I am interested in the BID Slim Bolt, but wanted to get some opinions, as well as, known issues {if any). I'd also be interested in some similar type (adjustable) pens around the same price range or cheaper.

I would like the ability to be able to switch ink cartridges. In my current pen (Bastion Slim), I have a Uni SXR-600-05 which I like for the tip size and it's smoothness. I have never used an Energel, which seems to be very popular. I want to try it, especially if they have a 0.5 tip as thin as the SXR-600, and I think this might be a pen that will allow me to switch without committing to any ink cartridge size.

Hello. I have a Bastian Slim Bolt titanium pen that I bought a few months ago. Due to carrying it in my pocket for work, it has become slightly scratched up. Is there any way to polish it up to get it back or close to it's original smoothness?

I am also looking at getting another click style pen, probably stonewashed titanium if possibly. I hear a lot about Tactile Turn pens, but they seem a little expensive. Are there any recommendations for an equally decent pen or pen the same price but of finer quality?

Just to note. I do really like the Bastian Slim, especially since it has a nice diameter for me. After being on this site though, there seems to be a new world I haven't experienced.
