Ok, so GTT; no matter 1-3hr, what is the window of time the phlebotomist has to draw the blood?
For example, if a pt finished their glucose drink at 8am and they have a 1hr gtt then they should been seen within how many minutes from that time?
I was always told 5 minutes. 10 minutes if you're in a hospital. Today, someone told me 15 minutes and another said 4 minutes. Does it vary by who you work for? Like labcorp vs quest.
