recovering from the end of my first relationship

I would love any music recommendations, Ntnl adjacent or otherwise. Boxer was my favorite album of all time but I can't bring myself to listen anymore. Love songs kill me and heartbreak songs suffocate me; happy songs make me mad and sad songs make me cry. But I miss music, and I'm hoping someone has a solution.

Alice M. Baldwin Scholars?

Hi! I'm an incoming first-year who just got an email about the Alice M. Baldwin Scholars program, and I was hoping to hear from anyone who was a part of it what they think! I understand it must be very selective, and the application process also seems extensive, so I was wondering the ways the program actually helps you as a student? I can certainly see the social and academic merit in it but given it is a long-term commitment I'm wondering if there are any other benefits!

Is CAPS good?

hi! I'm an incoming first-year and have a couple questions. first - I understand CAPS is free, and I'm wondering if students who have made use of the resource find it comparable to finding external well-qualified therapists. and second, to any students who may be using therapists outside of CAPS, how much does student insurance cover? thank you!!

edit: for context, i have OCD amongst other things and find that those services tend to be a little more specialized, which is partly why I'm asking

Hi! I'm an incoming first-year debating between majoring in Econ and PubPol. I know I'll have a while to make an informed decision while I'm on campus, but I'm looking for some guidance that'll help me decide my course schedule for this fall. I'm not sure what I want to go into yet, but I know it's not typical finance or private sector consulting, so I'm wondering more about the education quality and things taught than job prospects right now.

I've read a couple really harsh posts from a few years ago about how poor the PubPol major is, and I'm wondering how much it still holds up? I committed to Duke mainly because I'm really drawn to this major, and it seems more interdisciplinary and exciting than just Econ. Any advice would be appreciated!
