Are 2 videographers really needed for the wedding?

Most photographers have shared a package of 2 photographs and 2 videographers for our wedding of 150 people. Same for reception of 200 guests.

On mentioning that we’re good with just 1 videographer, one studio explained that having 2 videographers helps you capture both POVs of a moment, eg. during the entrance, varmala, sagai, etc. so the storytelling will be better in the edited wedding film. I get his point, but the diff is ₹20k. I’m not sure if it’s worth it or not, or if it’ll matter later, because the photographers are still going to be capturing photos of both POVs.

Does anyone have experience with this? Advice?

Reviews + referral code for EventGraphia photographers?

We’re planning to book EventGraphia for our wedding in Jan. We really liked their portfolio and professionalism so far.

People who have booked them before, how was your experience?

And do you have a referral code I can add in while booking?

Budget lehenga shops in BLR?

Hello! I am currently underway with my wedding shopping and I am yet to find one last outfit for my sangeet. I am specifically looking for a blue lehenga for it. I have done the rounds of Commercial Street and even torn my eyes out with online shopping, but either something is too expensive, too generic, or not good enough quality.

Can you please suggest any other shopping areas and particular shops or boutiques which sell nice lehengas which are semi-fancy (not casual but not too bridal heavy) apart from Commercial Street?

I heard Chickpet and Jayanagar are good market places but don’t know which shops are good for this. My budget is 10-15k.

The last resort is to get some nice fabric from MohMit or MSU and get one stitched 😬

Thanks in advance!

Why does my base look powdery and one dimensional?

Hello there. This is the first tutorial I was following step by step for makeup.

I did only half my face.

Did basic skin prep with rose water spray and cetaphil moisturising cream.

Applied foundation with the multitasker brush and then used a damp beauty blender to tap it in. It was looking patchy so I added a bit more foundation. It looked better but still had that powdery look, like I’ve painted my face with something. I want it to look more skin like.

Used 4-5 pumps foundation in total.

After about 5 min of finishing my makeup it looks less powdery I think it settled down? Or is it placebo? Does foundation usually act this way?

Is it the brush I used, the foundation, skin prep, or something else?

This is the video I followed: https://youtu.be/jvAqpTyP6TE?si=Ut0s\_57mLHQDfhQQ

What would be a good starting point for learning self bridal makeup? What are your go-to products for such occasions?

I want to learn to do my own makeup for my upcoming wedding events. I’m planning to do a few looks on my own (not the main wedding, but the haldi, sangeet and maybe reception).

What’s a good starting point to practice in your expert opinions? What are some good products you recommend?

I’m combination skin type. Usually wear lip colour on a regular basis, occasionally experiment with eyeshadow. I can count on my hands the no. of times I’ve worn foundation, so doing a good base is one of the things I think I need to learn + refine my eye makeup skills. I also want to learn how to do a natural skin like looking base.

If I have to start from this stage, how would you recommend I do so?

Make up classes in BLR?

Hi everyone! I wish to learn to do self makeup for events, going out, etc. Can anyone please recommend good makeup classes which are good for learning for self-makeup (not for doing professionally) in Bangalore?

I found one by BodyCraft Academy that’s a 2-day course for 8-10k. Anything else that’s out there?

Jan 2027 bride looking for MUA in Mumbai for a natural look

Hey all! I’m new to the community but thought I’d post here to get recommendations of hair and makeup artists for my wedding day! Here’s what I’m looking for:

- Natural looking makeup. (I don’t want anything too dramatic, I’d like a dewy delicate and pretty look rather than something bold/ glam). Attached references.

- I’m new to makeup, so inputs on the names of makeup looks and terminology used for the attached looks would be helpful so I can communicate better (I’ve heard the words airbrush/ HD/ Full glam/ half glam, but I don’t know what they entail). I’ve heard people call what I thought was “natural and minimal”, a full glam look, so I’m confused 😄

- Looking for the wedding and reception (morning and evening, same day)

- preferably someone who also does sari draping (or can recommend someone who does)

- event is in Mumbai

Thank you so much in advance ❤️
