Happy 4th of July!!! America isn’t perfect but some things I really love about it, in honor of me moving back: Trader Joe’s, the incredible national parks, the California sun, the aesthetic of the street signs, the career opportunities that allowed my parents to move here, and birthright citizenship that allowed me, a daughter of immigrants, to call myself American 🥹

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday filled with fun, family, and friends! I celebrated by dragging my dad to the free LLL community yoga class (he loved it, wants to go again), and then baking focaccia & blueberry blondies (bluenies?) from scratch. While waiting for food to bake, we played my favourite board game: Trekking the National Parks, which was a wonderful way to celebrate a part of America my family & I love the most.

Soooo I’ve been away internationally dealing with {a lot} and it has not been lulu outfit central but I did manage to get to my first ever reformer pilates class with some friends! Y’all… Humbled. But also parts of it were easier than anticipated. My post-surgery body did its best.

Also! I looooove the power pivot tank!!!!! Will need more colours definitely…

Changed into the scuba joggers for post-pilates errands and loved how Deep Sea pairs with Galactic & Lavender Frost 😌

Ok so. I went to my first ever yoga studio class this morning (in the US anyways). Can a seasoned veteran tell me if it’s supposed to be a freaking sauna in there ?!? (It was not advertised as Hot Yoga) It was at CorePower if that helps. ANYWAYS. Minus the literal moat of sweat around my mat, I had a fantastic time, and I even learned a new move! (Side Crow) (Not that I could hold it for much longer than a second but hey! Something to work on ☺️)

Airport fit is my standard uniform of the black heavyweight fleece set. I LOVE this set so much, my only regret is I didn’t get more colours! Like Goodnight Plum or Bone when they were available… 🥲 Alas. I must cherish the one set. (And I do)

I told myself I didn’t need another pair of shake it outs (I have pool party & serene blue) but a couple weeks ago I took the serene blues out for a neighbourhood walk in the hot weather and I capitulated immediately. Mulberry Spark is such a joyful hot pink! The name would imply something Christmassy but these are perfect for spring/summer vibes 🌷

Bonus content paired with Lavender Frost because I thought they were so cute as I was getting dressed! 💜

I had been waiting for the clubhouse blue cropped swiftly to go to WMTM but then I saw the swiftly cami and bought that instead. But I preferred the colour of the cropped swiftly tee and ended up returning the cami (swipe to see photo comparison) which is a shame because I love the style of the cami but the colour just didn’t excite me.

Bonus content of me getting back into handstands! Ended up holding it for a whopping 39s. Muscle memory is truly something…

Um okay i LOVE the swiftly cami!! I had wanted the cropped ss swiftly in matcha but I have citra lime & it felt too similar to justify.. but then I spotted the cami on WMTM for $10 less and it is perfect! It is a bit see through but it is a happy accident because when I tried it on for size I was wearing my heart bra and it was super cute 🤭 Haven’t tried it yet with any other bras but if I have to always wear these 2 together so be it 😌
