Hi, I’m a 28-year-old single guy moving from Boston to Charlotte. I’m hoping to find a place in the south end so I can be close to work. Do you think it’s important to have good amenities, especially if they help you meet people?

I took a few tours in the south end and I’m pretty happy with what I’ve seen. One place that really stood out to me is Camden Gallery (okay, it’s priced well and in a great location). Kingston (124 E Kingston) has an amazing pool and a ‘luxury’ vibe, but it’s a bit pricey. What do you think? Also, how do single guys usually meet people? Built my life in Boston and kinda stressed about moving alone.

RRSP/TFSA/non-registered investments

Health insurance
Driver’s licence and vehicle registration
Any common mistakes or things you wish you knew before moving

Bali looks great, and places like Lombok and the Gili Islands seem pretty amazing too. But if you only had 4–5 days coming from Jakarta, where would you go?

I’m a single guy in my late 20s and ideally looking for a mix of great beaches, some hiking or outdoor adventures, and a decent social scene where it’s easy to meet people and go out at night. Not necessarily looking for a crazy party destination, just somewhere with a good vibe and enough going on.
