This may be a hot take but I don’t give sadaqa to able bodied young men, men who are or look healthy.
I have a ton of illnesses and I still work for my money, i know a lot of people who are disabled and still work, and you see grown men, twice my size, asking me for money in the street.
I know this sounds like i am coming from a privileged place but i am not, as i mentioned earlier i am practically disabled and i worked hard for what i have
If they are able bodied they should work, no matter what they do, any halal work is better than asking for money from people who may be less healthy or fortunate than you.
