1500 towing a 9k+ tt

Snapped this pic a while back at the place we got our camper. Not quite as egregious as some of the pics I see here, but it looked worse in person. This was a 1500 that had just bought a Jayco Eagle I believe was somewhere in the vicinity of 9400lbs and probably 35’ long. Guy said he was going to VA I think (from Long Island). The place made him sign a waiver before he rolled out…

O/U Case recommendations

I’ve read a lot of threads praising the Negrini case. I really don’t want to drop $500 on a case if there are alternatives. I already have a giant Savior case for my 308 that fits my Citori cx micro but it’s huge. I kinda want a takedown case though. Something light weight. I’m not flying so doesn’t need to be tsa and I don’t want something super heavy.

Saw a video on the Negrini upland compact and though expensive, it’s exactly what I want. I finally relented and went to Negrini’s site and for 1 mid-rib gun, w a 30” + extended choke barrel yielded nothing that fits . Could that be? I tried their filters…

Any other options? I like the skb hybrid over Plano or peak. Probably even the browning guitar case style ones too. Anything else I’m not seeing? Anything that sits between the Negrini and SKB?

Does a wear mark that resembles the Virgin Mary count?

I’m not religious but was out for a walk and saw this wear mark on a front door. Not even sure what could have caused it…

Accuracy of carbon 10/22?

Toying w the idea of either building a Kidd 10/22 or just getting a carbon Ruger. I know 2 very different animals. I’d be using it as a fun range toy. I like the idea of the carbon being light weight and 1/3 the $ lol. The kidd would be me just wanting to buy once cry once w the best.

I have a tikka t1x that, even w cheap ammo, is well below 1 moa at 50 yards. I’m watching videos of the carbon 10/22 w horrible groups. Is this a normal thing?

This will be my first semi auto rifle. I have a few bolt guns and pistols…

Fifth wheel auto leveling question.

New to auto level and 5’rs. I have a 26 Jayco eagle w the lippert auto level system. Was reading to not let it over extend by lifting the wheels too much (which I’m kinda uncomfortable w anyway). I’ve been using a level for side to side. Anything more than one bubble (which has been everywhere so far) I use my crescent levelers to get side to side and then use the auto level for front to back.

One thing I’ve noticed is the camper is very wobbly when we’re in it. Like walking around. Seems worse than our tt’s

This the right way? I found an old pair of x chocks I’m going to try too.
