Wedding Dress Alterations Advice
I am three weeks out until my wedding. I have just taken my dress home from alterations. I am seeing a lot of things I didn’t when trying it on quickly for the seamstress. She has had the dress since December. The zipper was not done until my second to last appointment and the lace trim was added before I took it home. When I told her I was not happy with how the zipper was lying she told me it should come out if I get it pressed before the wedding. I found 3 pins still in the dress and jabbed myself through the garment bag putting it into my car. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I paid almost a grand for these alterations. Am I overreacting reacting? Is there hope? I’m about to seam rip and sow it together myself by hand.
