Planned construction starts September 1. We want to show that the DMV does not support that. Save East Po and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association are partnering to bring the community back out to East Potomac on August 29. Come ride the loop, meet your neighbors, and show that the DMV community is not going anywhere. The more people who show up, the louder the message.

Can you please help me understand what you were feeling/your thought process? First, you aggressively passed my group and then immediately pulled over to the side of the road. Minutes later you aggressively passed us again and threw the water bottle, which did hit one of us. We are people, too, just trying to enjoy being outside and getting some exercise in the process. And we also are hoping to make it home fully intact.

Perhaps we inconvenienced you by one minute; being inconvenienced doesn’t make that okay. Would you aggressively pass and throw a water bottle at a farmer slowly driving a tractor?

Would you do something like that if your grandma were in the car? Your girlfriend/wife? Your child?

I really, honestly, would like to know what was going on in your mind and heart that you felt like you ought to do something that could result in serious injury to us. I just don’t understand how someone could be so hateful like that :(
