I challenge you to come up with a good sequel to Terminator 2.
Terminator 2 had such a perfect conclusion that it accidentally killed the franchise.
I recently saw Terminator 2: Judgment Day back in the cinema, and it cemented for me that it’s genuinely one of the greatest films ever made. Like many here, I think 1 and 2 are the only canon films worth watching.
I started thinking about why Hollywood has failed so miserably to make a decent third movie despite so many attempts. I did what any fan does: I tried to brainstorm a story for a proper Terminator 3. But the more concepts I played with, the more I realized it’s an impossible task. T2’s conclusion was so absolute that any sequel inherently sabotages the emotional weight of "No fate but what we make."
I toyed with a 2029 Future War concept—following John Connor’s Resistance as they breach Skynet and send Kyle and the reprogrammed T-800 back to 1984 and 1995. But as a movie? It wouldn't work. Salvation proved why: no one actually wants a generic, post-apocalyptic military sci-fi movie under the Terminator banner.
The magic of 1 and 2 is that they are grounded sci-fi thrillers. The core appeal is the terrifying contrast of normal, vulnerable people being stalked down by an unstoppable killer machine in an everyday world. Once you shift to apocalyptic 2029 where everyone has plasma rifles, that suspense vanishes. On top of that, where do you even go after the T-1000? Every villain since has felt gimmicky because T2 reached the absolute peak of antagonist design.
I genuinely believe it’s impossible to write a satisfying follow-up to T2 without ruining what came before.
So, I’m challenging you all to prove me wrong. Pitch me a concept for a Terminator 3 that actually respects 1 and 2, preserves the thriller atmosphere, and doesn't cheapen Sarah and John’s victory. (Ignore every sequel after 1991).
What’s everyone’s favourite Young Thug songs?
Let me know your top 10 or something, I just wanna tap into everyone’s favourite songs across his huge discography as I feel like I mainly only ever listen to a small portion of his discography regularly.
I feel as if my list is quite simple and mainly just his most popular hits:
Lifestyle
From A Man
Millions
Money On Money
Mannequin Challenge
Sup Mate
Light It Up
Best Friend
With Them
Diamonds
(not in any order)
To everyone hating on Slime Language 3
Every person I’ve seen talk trash about SL3 still admits to liking at least a few tracks. People expect a massive compilation project with dozens of different features to play front-to-back with zero skips, which just isn't realistic for a label album.
There is literally something for everyone on this project:
Old Thug vs. New Thug: A balance between his classic sound and current evolution.
Vocal Gems: At least three tracks feature prime, vintage Thug vocals that sound straight out of his golden era.
Roster Diversity: A mix of mainstream heavyweights and the new generation.
If you’re hating on it, you either haven't let it grow on you or you can't adapt to where the sound is heading. It’s fine if modern hip-hop isn’t moving in a direction you like, but that doesn't make the constant complaining justified.
The funniest part is the hypocrisy. When Thug first blew up, old-heads called him a weirdo and said he was ruining hip-hop. Now, Thug fans are doing the exact same thing to the new YSL signees. You might not rock with the new roster, but a huge audience does—especially the younger generation.
It’s time to stop expecting a solo masterpiece from a label mixtape and just appreciate what’s on the table.
SL3 track-list decoded 🐍
From this clear screenshots from the recent YSL studio footage showing a working whiteboard tracklist for Slime Language 3. It looks like an early-stage tracking session board with collabs, producer notes, and solo cuts mapped out.
Here is the breakdown of what’s written on the board:

Artist Feature / Appearance Count (Most to Least)
Based strictly on the whiteboard scribbles, here is how often the artists show up across these working sessions:
Diamond: ~8 tracks
Saint: ~6 tracks
Iyrus: ~6 tracks
Tezzus: ~5 tracks
Bigga / Biggs: ~4 tracks
Lil B-Slime / B-Slime: ~3 tracks
Lito: ~3 tracks
Thug (Young Thug): ~2 tracks
Kayo: ~2 tracks
Unky: ~2 tracks
Quavo: ~2 tracks
YT: ~1 track
Flags: ~1 track
Blue / Bros: ~1 track
Takeaway:
Keep in mind this is an early-stage studio board, so titles change, songs get cut, and features shift around before any official tracklist drops, but it gives a pretty cool look at who is leading the charge on SL3. Also worth nothing the album is supposedly 30 tracks long so the track-list is likely to be very different than what we see here.
What do y'all think of the lineup?
