Uplift desk accessories

Hi,

Planning on buying an uplift desk for general ergonomic improvement, but curious about people's experience of the accessories. Things I'm considering:

Main desk - curved (bamboo) or straight?

Surge protector - net plus to have it? Can it go on the sides?

Alternatively the Power Strip - doesn't have a surge protector but probably I only need two outlets for now. Can it be mounted anywhere on the front if it's under the desk? Experiences with it under or on top?

Shelves - in the near term I use have one monitor, but might be nice to have some shelves for desk knickknacks, maybe the 1 + 2 shelf combo?

Keyboard tray - this is probably my biggest question. I'd like the keyboard relatively low, but can't decide between just setting the desk low (and having a big monitor stand) or using a keyboard tray and the desk not as low. Experience with the keyboard trays anyone? Which ones? (Keyboard tray I suppose forces me to sit further back / need more space in my cramped office area so maybe leaning against this, esp. with the curved desk)

A drawer for pens, chargers, misc equipment - the desk drawer or the slim drawer? (off to the side.)

Plus a file cabinet.

Any comments or thoughts or experience or advice would be welcome!
