I’ve had the same mattress for about 9-10 years and I always thought my slight back pain and bad posture and constantly sleepy feeling was just from getting older and not going to bed early enough. But recently my mom gave me some money to get a new mattress for my birthday and I decided to go over budget and get a pretty expensive one since I wanted it to last.

Holy shit I am standing up straight, I feel much more healthy generally, I am not tired at all, and basically no more pain.

I’m just annoyed at this point knowing this was all due to the mattress this whole time. It was only ever a slight annoyance so it wasn’t enough that I ever even noticed how bad it was until it was gone. Years of feeling groggy in the mornings and my back aching until lunch time and it was the mattress the entire time.
