wanting to update bedroom/office layout
trying to refresh my bedroom, but I feel limited with the floor vent in front of my window, and the unusable space around the main & closet doors. I’ve drafted a few ideas with the furniture i have now & am curious which option (if any) would make the space feel more open & functional since I WFH and need my desk in my bedroom. ideas on furniture to help maximize storage would help as well since my closet is pretty crammed with clothes & hobby supplies. layout 2 is most similar to my current layout, but i have the position of desk and cubbies swapped (photo taken from what’d be the upper-right corner in sketches). I tried to make everything to scale to the 12’x10’ room. I will also be taking down shelves & posters to either replace or re-arrange, so I am also thinking about painting whole room, or adding wallpaper to one wall while stuff is down
